Reframe handmade glasses cases: unique, sustainable, made with Spazio3R
It's not (just) a glasses case. It's an ongoing story.
It's impossible not to notice them. Original eyeglass cases are often enormous compared to the item they contain, and are made of plastic that's difficult to recycle: this leads to significant logistical and environmental waste.
And so at Reframe, we try to give new life to glasses every day... cases included! But what happens when those glasses no longer have their original cases?
We happen to encounter companies like Spazio3R : a creative tailoring workshop that creates concrete opportunities for women in vulnerable situations. Together, we've created a project that speaks to care, recovery, and sustainable beauty. This is how our handcrafted eyeglass cases were born.
Handmade, one by one
Each eyeglass case is made from high-quality recycled fabrics. No mass production, no two models are identical: each piece is unique, just like the person who made it and the person who will use it.
Plus, they're designed to be lightweight, practical, and compact . They come with a built-in cleaning cloth and take up very little space in your bag, suitcase, or drawer.
How does it work?
Handmade eyeglass cases cannot be purchased individually. Here's how it works:
- If a pair of glasses still has its original case in excellent condition , the glasses are accompanied by the existing case, thus extending their life cycle and limiting waste.
- If the original case is not available , the glasses will be delivered with our handcrafted Reframe glasses case.
The type of case provided for each model is indicated on the product page on the website, so you always know what to expect: the original case or the Reframe case. Either way, your glasses are safe, whether on their way to you or in your bag!
A simple gesture, many meanings
