Fit is defined by lens width (also called "caliber") and determines the style of your eyewear. You don't need to choose fit based on face size (for example: slim fit for a small face – oversize fit for a large face), but rather based on how much of your face you want the glasses to cover.
- SLIM FIT: lenses cover a limited area around the eye, leaving most of the face uncovered.
- REGULAR FIT: lenses cover a medium area of the face.
- OVERSIZE FIT: lenses cover a larger area of the face.
Size is defined by the hinge-to-hinge distance inside the frame, and it's important for choosing glasses that fit well on your face (in practice, they shouldn't pinch because they're too tight or slide off because they're too loose).
To find the right size for you, take a pair of glasses you already own that fit well. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the hinges in millimetres. Use the table below to find your size (allow a tolerance of +/- 4 mm).
